I hit 'next blog' and came upon the following written by a Brazilian who has been in Canada for 4 months. It captures Canada from the viewpoint of someone who is not Canadian and it is heartwarming.

Living in Canada is ...
... is to walk the streets without fear.
... is entering the subway and see a woman in mini skirt and another burqa in the same environment.
... is walking in the mall and listen to English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Arabic, Greek, Turkish, Persian, indirect, Italian at the same time.
... Is to lose 5 minutes trying to adjust the water temperature at the tap every time.
... It take a month to hear a car horn in the street.
... Is getting on the bus and see people using the notebook.
... Is to miss the mother, father, sisters, grandmothers, uncles and cousins.
... Is to leave the house with a blue sky and a beautiful sun and thinking: Poutz today will make very cold.
... Is playing in the snow.
... Is to find that 6 degrees is summer and leave the house in slippers and think: today's hot, right?
